Over the years, we have launched many projects to support our community in areas where due to a lack of progression our community has been suffering.

One area deteriorating significantly is rights afforded to those passing away.  Those who have lost a loved one will certainly be aware of the challenges and restrictions placed on burying them in a dignified and affordable manner.

With a burial space crisis in London, the average burial cost is now £4800 (Alrahmah funeral cost investigation) which is a huge burden upon many families.

Alrahmah is pleased to announce that after much effort and searching, we have found an ideal solution.

Eternal Gardens in London is a dedicated Muslim cemetery that has kindly accepted our offer and has provided us with highly discounted plots within their beautifully landscaped cemetery which has become renowned for its dignified and peaceful facilities along with the supportive Muslim burial team.

Our Not for profit/ NGO Alrahmah Community Development (ACD) is organizing a fundraising campaign to buy burial plots within Eternal Gardens during this holy month of Ramadan 2017.

As a small organization, we are ambitious in making a great change to accessible and affordable burial options.

This campaign is designed not only to promote awareness among the community but also to provide a respectable and dignified resting place. 

We wish to buy burial plots, provide transportation vehicles and washing facilities to ensure the process can be as easy as possible, and supports the bereaved family members sufficiently.

Taking this opportunity to make contributions to a cause that has become abandoned yet requires us to pull together as an Ummah and support each other.
