The  23rd March 2020 mark the burial of the first COVID-19  muslim patient who passed away in South London.

Given the current corona virus pandemic  a lot of misinformation and confusion being spread amongst people causing unnecessary panic in relation to Janazah body washing and burial  process,

Alrhamah would like to assure  you that we have made all the necessary preparations with our partners and third parties  to meet the legal and health requirements regarding COVID 19 Funeral and burial process

However people should be aware that there is a strict limit on the number of people that can attend Janazah at most cemeteries for the burial.

With regards to the mass worry and concern about the Coronavirus Bill legislating forced cremation – it has now been adjusted according to patients wishes and religious burials will be respected.

Alrhamah would like to remind you  and strongly advise people to ensure that they have a Will in place which should also state that a person is a Muslim and would like a Funeral and Burial in accordance to Islam or other religions as we respect others beliefs

If anybody needs any help or guidance they can contact Alrhamah  officials for further information.
